- 5+ years relevant industry experience.

SR. RESEARCH SCIENTIST IMMUNOBIOMARKERS
The Sr. Research Scientist will report directly to the Vice President of Translational Medicine. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Leading a team in
method development and validation in various assays, including ELISA,
cell-based assays, etc.
• Leading the effort
in implementation of new biological assays and processes, as well as in
trouble-shooting various bio-chemical procedures.
• Organizing,
supervising, and operating a lab and team that conducts multiple studies
simultaneously.
• Training junior
scientific staff to improve technical capability and GLP compliance.
• Evaluating significance of data and report findings.
• Serving as
Principal Investigator for assigned projects; communicate with clients and
internal groups in a timely manner; manage projects effectively to ensure
quality of data and adherence to client timelines, requirements, and standards.
• Organizing experimental data, perform appropriate analysis, and draw conclusions.
• Anticipating workload peaks and manage flow to optimize productivity, while maintaining
quality of work.
Qualifications:
This position requires a PhD, preferably in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Immunology and 5 years of post doctoral experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
PRODUCT MANAGER LC COLUMNS
The successful candidate
will develop and execute a growth strategy for the chromatography and
spectroscopy supplies business supporting the life sciences and chemical
analysis markets.
The candidate will be
responsible for the following:
- Understanding the
market and competitive environment for liquid chromatography columns, defining
the market segments and the market drivers within these segments
- Identifying customer
needs and developing strategies to address those needs.
- Understanding customer
workflows and developing consumable solutions to address key needs or gaps in
these workflows.
- Experience in product
marketing including managing a portfolio of products to stated revenue and
profitability goals.
- Setting pricing
strategies for the portfolio of products
- Developing forecasts
and aligning these forecasts with stakeholders across the organization.
- Managing the
profitability of the product lines to deliver to stated profitability goals.
- Developing product
value propositions and product positioning
- Developing sales tools
and product information material and updating such tools and information in a
timely manner
- Developing and
delivering channel training and customer seminars in a timely manner
- Working
collaboratively, cross organizationally, cross regionally and cross
functionally to deliver the desired results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters
Degree in Analytical Chemistry or similar discipline, and an MBA or equivalent,
with a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic product marketing.
- Required Experience and
Skills:
- Demonstrated strategic
product management experience with a scientific/technical product line.
- Experience in the
analytical laboratory setting as a foundation for understanding customer needs
and the channels that serve these customers.
- Chromatography
experience with strong preference for HPLC columns chromatography experience.
